This Privacy Policy explains how Simarahitam Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”) handles your information across the WinRec family of products:

WinRec Creator — our mobile app for iOS and Android, where you upload a video and receive an AI critique.
WinRec for Chrome — our browser extension that records demos and pitches for an AI critique. (A dedicated extension policy is also available at /privacy-extension.)
The website at winrec.online and the shared AI critique service that powers both.

The short version: We collect the minimum needed to run your account and generate critiques. A video you submit is uploaded only for analysis and deleted immediately afterward — we never store your videos permanently, and we never sell your data.

1. The video you submit

In the mobile app, you choose a video from your device to upload for an AI critique. In the Chrome extension, recording is local-first and a temporary review copy is created only when you request a critique.
The video is uploaded to secure temporary storage (Cloudflare R2) via a short-lived, single-purpose link.
Google’s Gemini model analyzes the video to generate the critique. The video is processed subject to Google’s applicable terms.
The video is deleted immediately after analysis, and a safety lifecycle rule removes any stray object automatically. We do not retain the video.
We retain the resulting text critique linked to your account so you can view your history.

2. Information we collect

Account: when you sign in — with Apple or Google in the mobile app, or with Google in the extension — we receive your email and name (and profile picture where provided). We store a one-way hashed identifier plus your email to operate your account, credits, and usage limits.
Usage & critiques: the text of your critiques, their grade/context, your projects, and credit balance/usage, to power history and enforce plan limits.
Purchases: which plan or credit pack you bought, to grant the correct credits. See Billing below.
YouTube channel analytics (optional, only if you connect a channel): if you choose to connect your YouTube channel, WinRec uses the YouTube Analytics API (yt-analytics.readonly scope) to read your own channel's analytics — audience demographics, average view duration / retention, traffic sources, and top-performing content — solely to calibrate your AI critique to your real audience. We access only the analytics of the account you authenticate; we never access any other user's data. Connecting is optional and revocable at any time.
Diagnostics: the Chrome extension may send anonymous, aggregated product telemetry (e.g. that a recording started) tied to a random install ID, never to your identity or content; it can be turned off in the extension. The mobile app does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

3. Billing

Payments are processed by the platform’s billing system, and we never receive or store your full card details:

iOS app: in-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store).
Android app: in-app purchases are processed by Google Play.
Web / Chrome extension Pro: processed by Razorpay.

We receive only the purchase/subscription status needed to grant credits and operate your plan.

4. What we do NOT collect

We do not collect your browsing history, page contents, page URLs/titles, microphone audio outside a recording or upload you initiate, your contacts, your location, or the contents of your videos beyond the temporary critique processing described above. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not share it with data brokers.

5. Third parties

Apple — Sign in with Apple and App Store in-app purchases (iOS).
Google — sign-in, Google Play in-app purchases (Android), the Gemini AI model that analyzes videos, and (if you connect a channel) the YouTube Analytics API.
Cloudflare R2 — temporary storage of the review copy during analysis.
Razorpay — payment processing for web/extension Pro subscriptions.
Infrastructure providers used to host the service.

6. YouTube API Services

WinRec's channel-connect feature uses YouTube API Services. By connecting your channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. WinRec only requests read-only access to your own channel's analytics (yt-analytics.readonly); we do not post, modify, or delete anything on your channel, and we do not access any other user's YouTube data. You can revoke WinRec's access at any time via your Google security settings. Analytics we retrieve are used to generate your critique and channel-intelligence summary; we do not sell this data or share it for advertising.

7. Data retention

Submitted videos: deleted right after analysis (within an hour at most by lifecycle rule). Critique text and account/usage data: retained while your account is active. You can request deletion (see below).

8. Your rights & account deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and associated data at any time. For full instructions, see winrec.online/delete-account, or email support@winrec.online. You can also revoke sign-in access from your Apple or Google account settings, and uninstall the app or extension at any time.

9. Children

WinRec is intended for users aged 18 and over and is not directed to children.

10. Security

We use short-lived signed links for uploads, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and hashed identifiers. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we delete submitted videos promptly to minimize exposure.

11. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
