These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the WinRec Chrome extension, the website at winrec.online, and the WinRec AI critique service (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Simarahitam Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “us”, “our”). By installing the extension, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

WinRec lets you record your screen locally in your browser and optionally request an AI-generated critique of a recorded video. The critique is directional feedback produced by a third-party AI model and is provided for informational and coaching purposes only.

2. Accounts

Recording does not require an account. Requesting an AI critique requires signing in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

3. Acceptable use

• You may only submit videos you have the right to record and analyze.
• You must not use the Service to process unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, or to violate the rights or privacy of others.
• You must not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service, or circumvent usage limits.

4. Plans, limits & billing

• Free: a limited number of critiques (currently 5) with shorter review duration.
• Pro: a paid subscription billed monthly or annually, with a monthly critique allowance (currently 50 per calendar month) and longer reviews. Allowances reset each calendar month and do not roll over.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change with notice for future billing periods.
• Payments are processed by our payment partner (Razorpay). We do not store your full card details.

5. Cancellation & refunds

You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Please see our Refunds & Cancellation Policy for details.

6. AI output disclaimer

Critiques are generated by an AI model and may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations of your content. They are suggestions, not professional advice or guarantees of any outcome. You are responsible for your own judgment about how to use the feedback.

7. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to your recordings and content. We retain all rights to the Service, software, and brand. We do not claim ownership of your videos.

8. Availability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Simarahitam Technologies Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction at our registered office location.
